The Neighbor Makers hit the road this weekend!
Stephanie from the Southeast Como Improvement Association dropped by this afternoon to pick up three Neighbor Maker Conversation Tables to be used at their 9th Annual Como Cookout on Sunday, September 18th.
Big issues “on the table” will be noise from TCF Stadium, what people are most or least excited about related to the upcoming homecoming events, the MIMO Free Store (Move In/Move Out), and of course, improving neighborhood relations between transient University of Minnesota students and permanent residents. We’re especially excited because both residents and student/neighborhood ambassadors will be facilitating conversations. We’ll post photos and an update from Stephanie next week!
The Neighbor Makers are simple platform that can be used by anybody to help connect communities of all kinds. If you would like to use the Neighbor Makers at an upcoming community event, just say hello!
