Ashle Briggs Horton wrote a really nice article about Rachel Breen’s Field Office Fellowship project, The Bank of Our Common Wealth:

She’s not just sewing together dollar bills–an act that could elicit a variety of reactions on its own–she’s sewing together dollar bills that people have given to her as an investment in the concept of common wealth. Breen wants to see if the public is willing to take that leap with her.

To make an investment in our common wealth, meet Rachel at the Walker’s Open Field on Thursday between 3 and 7 pm. She’ll be discussing the project on Monday, August 8th at 6 pm in the Field Office.
