Found out last week that I’ll be joining a delegation of Minnesota advocates, activists, policymakers, foundation officials, and equity leaders at the 2011 Equity Summit in Detroit. Am looking forward to exploring some of the connections between our creative work through Works Progress and sustainable, equitable development - and checking out some of the examples of art and community development I’ve heard so much about in Detroit. — S.H.M.
